For many years now, this conference has been a major event for manufacturers of packaging materials and food producers. Participants will discuss how migrating substances from recycled plastics, paper based packaging, coatings, adhesives, mineral oil, bisphenol A and other undesirable elements affect the packaged food.
Representatives from the industry, the authorities as well as from the medical and scientific fields are presenting the most pressing questions on food allergens at this conference. These include how to deal with clinical aspects and consumer safety, regulatory aspects and scientific matters, as well as industry practice and analytical approaches.

Learning by doing: This training includes practical exercises and will explain how food contact materials (FCM) are regulated in the EU. It will cover a wide range of topics, from the fundamentals of EU FCM legislation – notably providing guidance on establishing compliance with EU requirements – to the latest developments and "hot topics" in the EU market, including mineral oil and BPA.
