Overview

Where do we stand – and what’s next?

This conference provides a focused overview of the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) follow-up process at EU level and its implications for national legislation. Explore product responsibility between safety and sustainability, from recyclates to safety assessment, and discuss practical implementation topics such as design-for-recycling, recyclability evaluation and green claims. Tailored to the needs of the food and consumer goods industry.

  • Assess how PPWR requirements affect packaging compliance in the food and consumer goods sectors
  • Balance product safety and sustainability, particularly when using recyclates and new materials
  • Evaluate recyclability and apply design-for-recycling principles in practice
