Curious about Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and why it matters for chemicals? This training gives you a clear introduction: what LCA is, how to develop an assessment and communicate results effectively. No prior knowledge required.
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) evaluates the environmental impact of a chemical substance or mixture across its entire life cycle — from raw material extraction to disposal. For chemical companies, LCA is key to meeting customer demand for product based carbon footprint data, identifying environmental hotspots for innovation, and understanding the role it plays in policy development.
This training course has been set up as a first introduction and does not require prior knowledge in LCA.
