Overview

This training will enable you to find your way through the process of an endocrine disruptor assessment according to the EU criteria and ECHA/EFSA guidance. If your work includes the assessment of biocidal and crop protection active substances and products, then this workshop will provide you with profound details and a very advanced knowledge about your ED assessment. If your focus are industrial chemicals, the training will provide you with an outlook on expected changes for EDs.

Martina Duft is Senior Expert Regulatory Ecotoxicology at knoell Germany and coordinator of the knoell ED expert team. As Leader Ecotoxicology (Endocrine Disruptors, Biocides and Crop Protection), she is key contact for the topic endocrine disruptors. She studied biology at the Ludwig Maximilian University Munich and is holding a PhD in ecotoxicology from the JW Goethe University Frankfurt. After several years in ED related research, she has worked for about 20 years in various regulatory sectors with a focus on ecotoxicology, endocrine disruptors and regulatory affairs.

Estelle Phil

Knoell, France

Estelle Pihl is a toxicologist Engineer (MSc) who graduated from the Ecole Polytech at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis in France and has been working in the field of toxicology and biocidal products for over 14 years. Estelle has worked for various international groups, including 5 years in Denmark, where she carried out safety assessments of biocidal products, cosmetics and chemical substances under the REACH Regulation. Before joining Knoell France in 2017, Estelle worked in a veterinary laboratory on registration dossiers for pest control products. Since 2017, Estelle has been a Toxicology and Regulatory Affairs Manager for biocides. She prepares registration dossiers for biocides at European level and at national level for France. Her technical expertise includes human health hazard, exposure and risk assessment of biocidal active substances and products under the BPR Regulation. In particular, she carries out assessments of the potential endocrine disrupting effect of biocidal active substances and co-formulants. In 2023, she became also a Regulatory Science Manager – endocrine disruptor solutions, where she is involved in all aspects of the assessment of potential endocrine disrupting properties of active substances (under PPPR, BPR and REACH) and non-actives (for biocides).

Terms of Cancellation / Book without Risk
You can cancel your participation in our online events free of charge and without giving reasons in writing up to 1 week before the start of the event. In the case of later cancellations and non-login to the online event, no participation fees can be refunded.
In this case, however, you will receive access to the documentation after the event.
You can name a substitute participant free of charge at any time.
