Andreas Adler studied at the BOKU in Vienna and has been responsible for feed microbiology and hygiene in the AGES Agricultural Division since 2002 as well as for PCR applications in food analysis or to quarantine pests in potatoes. Since 2001 he has been a Member of the Federal Commission for Zoonoses in the Austrian Federal Ministry of Health and Consumer Protection.

Charlotte Bjørnvad is a Professor of Companion Animal Internal Medicine and the Head of the Research Group Medicine and Clinical Nutrition at the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences of the University of Copenhagen. Her research is focused on metabolic derangements during obesity and diabetes in dogs and cats, clinical nutrition and gastroenterology.

Wolfgang Koppe graduated in Agriculture, Animal Production. In 1995 he joined the Aquaculture Research Centre of Skretting, Norway, as a researcher in the areas of pigmentation, amino acids and formulation. From 1999-2017 he headed the Nutrition R&D department. In this role, he was developing and executing an R&D portfolio for feeds for salmon, trout, whiteleg shrimp, tilapia, sea bass, sea bream and other species while also developing and implementing commercial nutritional solutions for Skretting’s global feed lines. He is inventor and co-inventor of several patents. Since 2017 he works as an independent consultant in the field of aquafeeds.

Rudolf Krska is a full Professor at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) Vienna and the Head of the Institute of Bioanalytics and Agro-Metabolomics at the Department IFA-Tulln at BOKU. As member of JECFA he has evaluated the impact of trichothecene mycotoxins on humans. He is the Coordinator of the European Commission funded project MyToolBox for Integrated Mycotoxin Management in cooperation with China. Rudolf Krska is also Green Area Leader at the recently founded Austrian Competence Centre for Feed and Food Quality, Safety and Innovation (FFOQSI). In 2018, he has become Professor within the Institute for Global Food Security at Queen´s University, Belfast, UK.

His research topics include Salmonella, Clostridium perfringens and inflammatory gut health problems caused by dysbiosis.
