Alan Boobis

Imperial College London, UK

Alan R. Boobis retired from his chair at Imperial College London June 2017, and now works part-time at the College as Professor of Toxicology. His research interests include mechanistic toxicology, risk assessment and the effects of mixtures. He has published over 250 original research papers and has been a member of the EFSA PPR Panel and the Panel on Contaminants in the Food Chain. He has been a member/Chair of Joint FAO/WHO Meeting on Pesticide Residues and of the Joint FAO/ WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives (residues of veterinary drugs) for approx. 20 years. He currently chairs the UK Committee on Toxicity of Chemicals in Food, Consumer Products and the Environment.


Neil Buck

General Mills, Switzerland

Neil Buck is a Corporate Toxicologist for General Mills. He spends most of his time on innovation of products and production processes and in managing technical regulatory affairs. Neil has spent more than 15 years in industry. He participates in Committees in Food Drink Europe, the US Grocery Manufacturers Association, and both ILSI EU and North America.

Benedikt Cramer

University of Münster, Germany

Benedikt Cramer is working at the Institute of Food Chemistry at the University of Münster as Head of the Service Unit “Instrumental analysis and spectroscopy”. He is developing methods for the analysis of mycotoxins.


Peter Fürst

formerly Chemical Veterinary Analytical Institute Münsterland-Emscher-Lippe (CVUA-MEL), Germany

Peter Fürst retired from the CVUA-MEL (Chemical and Veterinary Analytical Institute Münsterland-Emscher-Lippe) board in March 2019 and now works part-time at the University of Münster as a Honorary Professor. He joined the EFSA CONTAM Panel from 2006 to 2015 where he was Vice-Chair from 2012 to 2015. Since last year he has been a member of the EFSA FAF Panel.


Rüdiger Helling

Saxon State Ministry for Social Affairs and Consumer Protection, Germany

üdiger Helling worked as Head of the Food Contact Materials and Consumer Goods Section at the Saxon State Laboratory for Public and Veterinary Health for 14 years and is member of several scientific advisory committees. In his current position as Head of Division at the Saxon State Ministry for Social Affairs and Consumer Protection he is responsible for the whole diversity of not only contaminants in food.

Dieter Schrenk

University of Kaiserslautern, Germany

Dieter Schrenk has been a Professor for Food Chemistry and Environmental Toxicology at the University of Kaiserslautern since 1996. In 2005 he took on the full professorship for Food Chemistry and Toxicology. He joined the EFSA CONTAM Panel in 2003. Since 2018 he has been the Chair of this panel.


Richard Stadler

Nestlé, Switzerland

Richard Stadler holds the position of Group Expert for Chemical Food Safety, within the Nestlé Corporate Quality Management function. He is the Chairman of the FoodDrinkEurope "Process contaminants" expert group.

Representatives of an authority or a public university are therefore eligible for a reduced fee of € 795.00 plus VAT per person (please provide evidence). The reduced fee cannot be combined with other rebates.

Group reductions

For joint bookings received from one company we grant a 15 % discount from the third participant onwards (it doesn’t apply for representatives of an authority or a public university).

Would you like to attend but cannot spare the time?
