Caroline Amberg studied microbiology at the University of Zurich. After graduating in 2002, she joined the microbiology and hygiene department of Swissatest Testmaterials AG, where she is the head of the microbiological department of Swissatest. She leads several research and development projects covering the development of new detection methods in the fields Laundry Hygiene, Biofilm prevention, disinfection, and odour formation. Furthermore, she is member of several standardization committees and author of numerous scientific articles.

Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, Germany
Dirk Bockmühl obtained his PhD in Microbiology on the molecular pathogenicity of Candida albicans. Until 2010 he worked in the consumer goods industry, where he was responsible for numerous microbiological projects for cosmetics and the laundry and home care sector. Afterwards he changed to the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences in Kleve, Germany, as a professor for hygiene and microbiology. His research interest is in domestic hygiene, especially in the development of consumer-related test methods for laundry and cleaning, and in the research on microbial communities in the domestic setting. Professor Bockmühl is a member of the scientific advisory board of the Sepawa and a board member of the division "Chemistry of Laundering" in the German Chemical Society (GDCh).

Monica is a senior Consumer Insights manager at Unilever Port Sunlight laboratory. A chemist by background, she did her first degree at Santiago de Compostela University, Spain and her PhD at Liverpool university. She has worked at Unilever for 27 years, initially as a product chemist and later as a consumer researcher across many product categories such as hair products, deodorants and now dishwash. Her role is to understand consumers’ needs globally so that we can translate insights into technical innovations.

Dominik Garzinsky is founder of packengeers. During his previous experience both in the chemical and packaging industry, he was impressed by the potential of savings. If packaging gets optimized, sustainability can be substantially improved. Since no one offered solutions, he took on the challenge. More than 50% of the carbon footprint of certain packaging concepts can be reduced, if companies follow concepts developed by packengeers.

With a background and expertise in the domain of distribution for over 10 years, he is well connected with the requirements of raw material and customer pipeline to serve the best fit and demands. In addition to the sales and marketing aspects, he is also responsible for the distribution and regulatory within the organisation.

Sander Kluit is an Sr. Scientist and the Application Lead for automatic dishwashing bioactives at IFF. Sander has worked in the HPC business since 2000, and since 2013 focused on dishwashing. He holds an BSc in Foodscience and Technology.

Novozymes, Denmark
Line Koefoed studied organic electrochemistry at the University of Aarhus from where she obtained her PhD in Nanoscience in 2016. After working as a PostDoc investigating the possibility to recycle wind turbines, she started working for the cosmetic company L’Oréal as the Nordic Claim Manager. This job involved mastering the European cosmetics and claims regulation and transferring that knowledge to fast moving consumer goods, pharmaceutical skin care products, and professional products. Since 2021, she has worked as an Industry Technology Specialist in Novozymes, where she works in Technical Service supporting European House Hold Care customers.

Interseroh, Germany
Katharina Müller started at Interseroh as a Trainee and has been advising well-known brands on recyclable packaging design since the end of 2019 in the “Made for Recycling” department. The recyclability tests are carried out in the company's own internationally accredited competence centre for plastics in Maribor, Slovenia. In addition to the recycling analyses, new recipes for recyclates are developed here. In the meantime, not only the lab but also the "Made for Recycling" service has become international. Around the globe, more and more nations are recognising the necessity of a functioning recycling economy. At Interseroh, the assessment of recyclability is not only available for Germany, but for more than 20 other countries. In some cases, there are strong differences between the nations. Katharina Müller will present to you in her speech which countries are already very far along in their development and which still have some catching up to do.

She is currently R&D Group Leader in the Surfactant for Consumer Applications Group, mainly focus in Home and Personal Care fields.

Matthäus Ryl is responsible for sales within the SGS Institut Fresenius detergents team, that is helping the industry with analytical, safety and efficacy testing. Before he took his sales role, he started his professional career at SGS as a Project and Lab Manager for the hard surface cleaning and hand dishwashing detergent area.

ÖKO-TEST Verlag, Germany
Kerstin Scheidecker is editor-in-chief of the German consumer test magazine ÖKO-TEST. She has been working for ÖKO-TEST since 2001 in various positions. Ms. Scheidecker has been trained to be a journalist at the Berlin School of Journalism. Before that she had been working for the daily newspaper Badische Zeitung in Freiburg. She studied History and German Literature at the University of Freiburg as well as Canadian History and Women’s Studies at McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada. During her studies Ms. Scheidecker held a scholarship from the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes (German Academic Scholarship Foundation).

Björn Sievers is responsible for Brand Communications DACH Fabric & Home Care at Procter & Gamble Germany. His statement: Putting sustainability at scale to action is a long distance run and a joint effort at the same time. Nothing is black or white, many challenges need multiple players to partner. As a communications manager I help to navigate this complexity; for the benefit of internal and external stakeholders.

Sara Wagner-Leifhelm holds a PhD in analytical chemistry. She is currently working as a project manager for Stiftung Warentest and is engaged in the testing of washing and cleaning agents among others. She holds a MSc degree with distinction in Natural Resource Management and a Minor MSc in Management & Economics of Life Sciences from Wageningen University, as well as various experiences in international organisations.

Jacqueline Wiacek is working as Marketing Manager at Evonik Cleaning Solutions since April 2019. She is responsible for all marketing activities for the region EMEA and supports global marketing initiatives. Jacqueline is engaged in the development of global marketing concepts for Home Care and I&I. She joined Evonik in 2002 for an apprenticeship as an Industrial Clerk. Since then she has worked in several positions within Evonik. In 2017 she successfully finished her degree in Business Administration beside her role as the Assistant to the board of Evonik Nutrition & Care.

The event documentation package includes all the presentations on the event agenda (subject to the approval of our speakers). It will be sent out around two weeks after the event once we have received your payment (free of shipping costs).
