This course will introduce you to the COVID-19 measures put in place globally to speed up the supply of disinfectants. The key objective is to help you, as manufacturers and importers to gain market access for your products. It will help you understand the options available for authorisation of disinfectants under the BPR in the EU and elsewhere in the world.
The Webinar provides concise information on the interdependencies between the Biocides Industry and the Corona Virus Pandemic. It will look at the different derogations that currently still allow manufacturers to gain quick market access for disinfectant products within various member states of the EU. It will also provide an overview of the regulatory deadlines that have been extended due to the general slowdown Covid has caused within the industry and bureaucratic processes.
This 1-day course will provide you with in-depth training on the Biocidal Product Regulation (BPR), including hands-on experience with practical exercises. The course will start with an introduction to the core principles and main features of current biocidal legislation in the EU. It explains how your product is affected by the BPR and what you need to do to be compliant if you have a biocidal product or a treated article.
This conference has become an important international meeting for producers, importers and downstream users of biocidal products and will be providing information on the latest regulatory developments as well as on the implementation of the BPR in the various EU member states.
The conference aims at providing those manoeuvring through the changing and increasingly difficult European regulatory landscape for microplastics with a supportive discussion platform and practical information. It will look at the regulatory changes and the data in support of the changes from different perspectives and will include speakers from the regulatory, industrial and scientific communities.
