Food Safety: International Akademie Fresenius Conference to discuss current and alternative risk assessment methods

Akademie Fresenius is currently sending out invites to their 18th international Conference “Food Safety and Dietary Risk Assessment" in Wiesbaden/Germany on 24 and 25 March. Top-ranking European experts will be discussing new trends and processes for analysing residues.

The agenda includes reports on current residue limits in fish and stereoisomer analysis and many more topics.

In addition, the participants will also be provided with a status report on the assessment of chemical mixtures from the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and on the OECD’s updated guidance on the residue definition. Representatives from the EU Commission will also be reporting on the new regulation with respect to the transparency and sustainability of the European risk assessment system and will be exchanging views with experts from the industry and the authorities.
