Companies supplying articles containing substances of very high concern (SVHCs) on the Candidate List in a concentration above 0.1% weight by weight (w/w) on the EU market have to submit information on these articles to ECHA, as from 5 January 2021.
In this E-Learning course, you will learn how to identify your obligations and how to meet those obligations. Together with Yordas Group, we are providing you with 8 video-modules that will give detailed and comprehensive advice on the SCIP database. This course is not a live-event but an on-demand course. You can log in whenever and wherever you want to and go through the modules in your own speed. The course language is English.
SCIP stands for Database of ‘Substances of Concern In articles as such or in complex objects (Products)’. The idea behind SCIP is that to successfully develop a circular economy and enable recycling, hazardous chemicals must be removed from materials. If you are a producer, importer or supplier of articles and you are based in the EU, you will likely have obligations to notify information to SCIP.
